Luxury and Sports Car Rental on Siesta Key: Delivery to the Key, Rates and the Drive

Looking to book rather than read? See exotic car rental in Sarasota for the live fleet, daily rates and delivery.

Most people searching for car rental on Siesta Key are not looking for the airport counter. They have a house on the key for a week and want one good car for it: something for the drive to St. Armands for dinner, the run down to Turtle Beach, a day out on Longboat, and the photos. This guide covers how the car gets to the key, what it costs for a beach week, and which cars suit the island.

Delivery to Siesta Key

We deliver to any address on the key: the rental houses in Siesta Village and along Midnight Pass Road, the hotels and condos on Crescent Beach, the houses out toward Turtle Beach. The handover takes about ten minutes at your door and the car stays with you for the week; we collect it from the same address, or from the terminal at SRQ if you are flying out. There is no island surcharge and no counter. If you would rather start at the airport, we stage the car curbside at SRQ arrivals with your flight tracked.

What a beach week costs

These are our 2026 daily rates; the right-hand column is what a full week works out to, because a week on the key is the booking we see most.

Vehicle Per day 3+ days (per day) Per week
2024 Mercedes C300 $229 ~$195 ~$1,122
2023 Mercedes GLE 53 AMG $350 ~$298 ~$1,715
2022 Corvette C8 $399 ~$339 ~$1,955
2024 BMW X5 M60i $449 ~$382 ~$2,200
2025 BMW M4 Competition $499 ~$424 ~$2,445
2021 Porsche 911 Targa $799 ~$679 ~$3,915
2022 Mercedes G63 AMG (Brabus Kit) $899 ~$764 ~$4,405
2022 Lamborghini Urus $999 ~$849 ~$4,895
2022 Lamborghini Huracán EVO Spyder $1,200 ~$1,020 ~$5,880

Delivery, comprehensive insurance and a daily mileage allowance are included. Siesta Key to St. Armands and back is twenty miles; a day on Longboat is forty; nothing on the island strains the allowance.

Which car for the key

For a couple

The Porsche 911 Targa 4S is the Siesta Key car: roof open across the north bridge, Midnight Pass Road to Turtle Beach, dinner on St. Armands Circle, and all-wheel drive for the afternoon storm. The Corvette C8 does the same job for half the money with the roof panel in the trunk.

For a family

The BMW X5 M60i and the Mercedes-AMG GLE 53 carry the beach gear and five people; the Cadillac Escalade carries seven. The Lamborghini Urus is the family car for people who want the badge as well.

For the photos

The Lamborghini Huracán EVO Spyder on the north bridge at sunset, or the Mercedes-AMG G63 outside the house. Both are booked weeks ahead in season.

The Siesta Key drive

The island itself is short: Siesta Village, Siesta Beach, Crescent Beach, Point of Rocks, Turtle Beach, and the end of the road at Midnight Pass. The drives worth the car start at the bridges. North over the Stickney Point or the north bridge to Osprey Avenue and downtown; the Ringling Causeway to St. Armands and the whole of Longboat Key to the Longboat Pass bridge; south on Tamiami Trail to Casey Key Road, the best road in the county, and on to Manasota Key. All of it fits in a day's allowance.

Island rules worth knowing

  • Beach access roads are sand. Every car in the fleet stays on pavement; park in the lots or at the house.
  • 35 mph in the village, and the police mean it. The car can do the rest on the causeways.
  • Season is January to April. The lots fill by eleven; drive early or leave the car at the house and walk.
  • Afternoon storms in summer. The Targa's roof closes in nineteen seconds; the Corvette's panel takes a minute. Plan the open-top miles for the morning.

Requirements

You must be 21 or older with a valid driver's licence, proof of full-coverage insurance that extends to a vehicle of this value, and a major credit card in your own name. International licences are accepted with a passport. A refundable security hold is placed on the card at handover and released after the car is returned and inspected; the figure depends on the car and is confirmed in writing before you pay anything.

Frequently asked questions

Do you deliver to Siesta Key?

Yes, to any address on the key, from Siesta Village to Turtle Beach, and to the hotels and rental houses. Delivery is included; there is no island surcharge.

What does a luxury car cost for a week on Siesta Key?

A full week runs about 30% below the daily rate times seven: a Mercedes C300 works out near $1,122 for the week, a Porsche 911 Targa near $3,915, a Lamborghini Huracán EVO Spyder near $5,880.

Is parking a problem for a low car on Siesta Key?

Siesta Beach and the village lots are flat and paved; the only things to watch are the beach access roads, which are sand and off limits for every car in the fleet, and the 35-mph limit in the village.

Can we pick the car up at SRQ instead?

Yes. We stage the car curbside at Sarasota–Bradenton International with your flight tracked, and collect it at the terminal on the way home.

Call or text 813-921-6973 with your dates and the delivery address; we reply the same day with availability and a written quote. More on the exotic car rental in Sarasota page and the Tampa Bay fleet.
