The standard airport rental experience at DFW involves a train to a rental center, a queue, and a car you have not seen until you are standing next to it. Curbside delivery removes all three steps. How the DFW curbside pickup works

Before you fly. You book a specific vehicle for specific dates and give us the flight number and the terminal. That flight number matters: it is how we know when to be there.

While you are in the air. We track the flight. If you are delayed two hours, the delivery moves two hours. You do not lose the car and you are not charged for the gap.

When you land. You text us at baggage claim. We confirm the pickup point, a specific door on the arrivals level of your terminal, arranged in advance. The car is at the curb when you walk out.

The handover. Licence check, a walkthrough of the car and the keys. Most handovers take under ten minutes. Then you drive away from the terminal instead of toward a rental facility.

Terminal by terminal

DFW has five terminals in a horseshoe. Terminal A and C are American's domestic terminals; D is the international terminal and the one with the longest walk from the gate; B is American Eagle and regional; E is everyone else, including Delta, United, Spirit and Frontier. We deliver to the lower-level arrivals curb of each. If you are connecting through customs at D, add the time it takes to clear before texting us; we would rather wait than have you waiting.

What it costs to rent at DFW

Delivery, a daily mileage allowance and comprehensive insurance on the vehicle are included. Three days or more takes about 15% off the daily rate and a full week close to 30%. The refundable hold scales with the car, from about $1,500 to $5,000, and is confirmed in writing before you pay.

What to bring

A valid driver's licence, the physical card, not a photo of it. International licences with a passport.
A major credit card in your own name, for the refundable hold.
Proof of full-coverage insurance that extends to a vehicle of this value; if your policy does not, tell us before you fly and we walk you through the options.
You must be 21 or older.

Returning the car

The reverse of delivery. We collect from wherever you are: your hotel, an office, or the departures curb of your terminal on the day you fly. If your flight is early, we meet you early. If you are driving on to Austin or Houston and flying home from there, say so when you book; a one-way return is possible and quoted separately.

Where DFW deliveries go

DFW sits between the two cities, so most runs from the terminal are short: Grapevine and Southlake are minutes away, Irving and Las Colinas ten, Fort Worth twenty, Uptown Dallas about twenty-five, and Plano and Frisco thirty. If you would rather have the car at the hotel than at the curb, that is the same rate.

One piece of practical advice

Book the car before you book the flight if your dates are on a peak weekend. Cowboys home games, the State Fair of Texas and the big convention weeks tighten availability across the whole metroplex, and the specific car you want is the first thing to go. Midweek, a few days' notice is usually enough.

Is there an extra fee for delivery at DFW?

No. Curbside delivery at DFW and Love Field, with your flight tracked, is included at the same rate as delivery to a hotel or a home address. There is no airport concession fee because we are not in the rental car center.
