Your car can work while you are not using it
An exotic spends most of its life parked. It depreciates whether you drive it or not, the insurance is due either way, and for a lot of owners it leaves the garage a handful of weekends a year. We run a rental fleet across Florida and Texas that books every week, and a good part of it belongs to private owners rather than to us.
Below is how the arrangement actually works, including the parts that stay your problem. Then book a call and we go through your car specifically.
What you earn
You get a percentage of everything your car bills, and we go through the exact numbers with you on the phone. We would rather tell you the real figure for your car than put an average on a web page that turns out to be wrong for you.
What we can say here: how much a car bills depends on which car it is, which city it sits in and which month we are in — a Huracán in Orlando in March is a different business from the same car in September. On the call we tell you what the comparable car on our fleet actually did, with real months, not a projection.
Who pays for what
We handle: finding and vetting the renters, the bookings, every delivery and collection, and keeping the car clean between rentals. You never deal with a customer.
You handle: tyres, oil and servicing, and your own insurance on the car. We are not taking the running costs off your hands and we are not going to pretend otherwise.
During a rental, the renter is responsible for the car. Every rental is on a signed rental agreement with a deposit held against the car, the renter's licence and card on file, and a documented walk-around with photos before it leaves and when it comes back. That is the mechanism that protects your car, and we will walk you through the agreement line by line on the call if you want.
It is still your car
Use it whenever you want. Block the dates and it is yours — a weekend, a holiday, an event. Tell us early and it is never a problem; tell us the morning of, and it may already be out with a customer. Owners typically take theirs back a few times a month and nobody minds.
The cars we take
Thirteen marques, and we rent them every week, so we know what books and what sits:
Lamborghini · Ferrari · McLaren · Rolls-Royce · Porsche · Mercedes-Benz · Maybach · BMW · Corvette · Cadillac · Audi · Lotus · Hummer
Something else and genuinely special — a Bentley, an Aston, a GT3 RS — ask anyway and we will give you a straight answer.
Two requirements, and they are firm
- 2022 or newer. Older than that and it does not rent at the rate that makes the split worth your while.
- The car has to be where we operate: Orlando, Tampa, Clearwater, St. Petersburg, Sarasota or Austin.
Why this is a call and not a form
Because you are going to have twenty questions and they deserve real answers. How the insurance sits during a rental. What happens if somebody kerbs a wheel. How many days a month a car like yours actually goes out. When and how you get paid. What the agreement says. None of that fits in a web page, and anybody who tells you it does is selling you something.
So the form below is not an application. It books a conversation. You tell us what you have, we call, and you decide afterwards.
How it goes after the call
- We look at the car in person, where it is.
- Terms in writing: the split, how you get paid, blackout dates, what the rental agreement covers.
- Photos and listing, and it starts taking bookings.
- You get told what it rented, when, and for how much.
Questions owners ask us
Who is driving my car?
Renters we have vetted: 21 or over, valid licence, a credit card in their own name, and a deposit held for the duration. We hand over in person every single time.
What if a renter damages it?
The renter is responsible under the rental agreement, and the deposit is held against exactly that. It is documented with photos at handover and at return, so there is no argument about when something happened.
Who cleans it?
We do, between every rental. That one is on us.
Who pays for tyres and servicing?
You do. It is your car and it stays on your maintenance schedule. We will tell you when something needs looking at.
How many days a month will it rent?
Depends on the car, the city and the season, and we will not invent a number here. On the call we tell you what the comparable car on our fleet did in real months.
Am I locked in?
No. We agree a period in writing. If it is not working for you, it ends.
Is this Turo?
No. On Turo you are the host: you list it, you message strangers, you do every handover, you handle every problem. Here you do none of that. The trade-off is that it runs as part of our fleet, to our standards, not as a listing you control.
Thinking of buying one to put on the fleet?
Some people arrive here without owning an exotic yet. They are considering buying one precisely because it could be rented out, and they want to know whether the maths works before they spend the money.
Talk to us before you buy, not after. We are not car dealers and we will not sell you anything — what we have is thirteen marques on the road and bookings every week, which means we know something a showroom cannot tell you: which cars actually get rented, and which ones sit.
That is not the same list as the one you would guess. Some of the cars people most want to own are the slowest to book. Some unglamorous ones go out almost every weekend. The colour matters. The year matters. Whether it has two seats or four matters more than almost anything else.
What we will tell you on the call
- Which models on our fleet book the most days in the city you are buying for, and which barely move.
- What the comparable car actually billed in real months — not an average, not a projection.
- What hurts a car's rentability: mileage, modifications, colour, two seats versus four, and age.
- Whether the car you are looking at is one we would take. If the answer is no, you will hear it before you buy, not after.
It costs you one phone call and it is the cheapest due diligence you will do on a purchase that size. Use the same form below and say in the last box that you are thinking of buying.
