The Daytona 500 in February, the Rolex 24 in January, Bike Week in March and Biketoberfest in October: we deliver the car to your hotel or condo the day before, from Orlando at the Orlando price. The Corvettes ($399) for the infield, the Urus ($1,099) and the G63 ($899) for the group, the Hummer EV ($300) for Main Street, the Huracán Spyder ($1,200) for the sound. Speedweeks and the Daytona 500
Speedweeks run for about ten days in February and end with the 500 on the Sunday. The city is full from the Thursday before: the beachside hotels, the Speedway-side hotels, the condos in the Shores. We deliver on the Wednesday or Thursday to wherever you are staying, do the handover, and you have the car for the Duels, the Xfinity race and the 500. The infield and the premium lots take any car on the fleet; the Corvettes and the Spyders use the paved lots, not the grass. A Thursday-to-Monday booking is four days and takes about 15% off the daily rate.
The Rolex 24
The 24-hour race at the end of January is the quieter, more knowledgeable week: the people in the paddock know what a 911 GT3 is, and the GT3, the Emira and the Huracán Tecnica are the cars that get booked. Same delivery, same price.
Bike Week and Biketoberfest
Bike Week in March is ten days and half a million motorcycles on Main Street, Beach Street and the Loop. A car is in the minority, so the one you rent should be worth looking at: the Hummer EV with the roof panels off, the G63 with the Brabus kit and the side pipes, or a Spyder for the sound. The Escalade is the support car for a group that rode down and needs one vehicle for the luggage and the designated driver. Biketoberfest in October is the four-day version of the same thing.
Cars available for race week and Bike Week, by brand
Prices are per day and are the Orlando prices, because these are the Orlando cars, an hour down I-4 from Daytona. Three days or more take about 15% off and a week close to 30%. Every rate includes delivery and collection in the Daytona Beach area, curbside service at DAB, insurance on the vehicle, roadside assistance and a daily mileage allowance. The whole list is on the Orlando fleet.
Getting around during race week
International Speedway Boulevard is slow from the Thursday; the beachside is quicker on A1A and the Seabreeze and Main Street bridges. Ormond Beach to the north and Port Orange to the south are the easier places to stay with a car. The Ormond Scenic Loop, Granada Boulevard to John Anderson Drive, Old Dixie Highway and Walter Boardman Lane, is the drive to do between sessions, and the allowance covers it. The Daytona Beach page has the delivery area and the DAB airport page the arrival routine.
Requirements and deposit
21 or older (25 for the Lamborghinis, the Ferraris, the McLaren and the Rolls-Royce), a valid driver’s licence, proof of full-coverage insurance that extends to a vehicle of this value and a major credit card in your own name. International licences are accepted with a passport. The deposit is a refundable hold on the card, taken before delivery and released after the return inspection; the amount depends on the car and is confirmed in writing before you pay anything.
Frequently asked questions about Daytona 500 and Bike Week car rental
How early should I book a car for the Daytona 500?
Three weeks, minimum, for an exotic or a G63; two weeks for an Escalade or an X5. Speedweeks fill every hotel from Ormond to Port Orange and the Orlando schedule fills with them.
Do you deliver to the Speedway?
To your hotel or condo the day before, not into the Speedway lots on race day. The infield and the premium lots take any of the fleet; the low cars use the paved lots.
Which car for Bike Week?
The Hummer EV with the roof panels off or the G63 with the Brabus kit are the four-wheeled cars that get looked at on Main Street. A Spyder if you want the sound. An Escalade if you are the support vehicle for a group of riders.
Can I drive the car around the Speedway?
Not on the oval; that is a track-day product we do not sell. The Ormond Scenic Loop and A1A are the drives, and they are open all week.
Are prices higher during the 500 or Bike Week?
No. The published Orlando rate is the rate all year; what changes is availability.
