What sits between the two cities
I-35 straight down is eighty minutes on a good day. The better versions of the drive leave the interstate: Highway 46 from New Braunfels to Boerne, the River Road from Gruene to Canyon Lake, the Devil's Backbone (RR 32) from Wimberley to Blanco, and RR 12 through Dripping Springs and Wimberley to San Marcos. In between: New Braunfels and Gruene (Gruene Hall, the Comal and Guadalupe rivers, Schlitterbahn), San Marcos and the outlets, Kyle and Buda, Canyon Lake, Wimberley and the Hill Country wedding venues around Dripping Springs and Driftwood, and Boerne on the San Antonio side. Requirements and deposit
21 or older (25 for the Lamborghinis, the Ferraris, the McLaren and the Rolls-Royce), a valid driver's license, proof of full-coverage insurance that extends to a vehicle of this value and a major credit card in your own name. International licenses are accepted with a passport. The deposit is a refundable hold, confirmed in writing before delivery and released after the return inspection.
Frequently asked questions
Can I pick up in Austin and return in San Antonio?
Yes. The same fleet serves both cities, so a one-way between Austin and San Antonio (or the reverse) is a normal booking. Tell us both addresses when you reserve; the hand-back happens wherever you finish, including the AUS or SAT departures curb.
Is there a one-way fee between the two cities?
No surcharge for Austin to San Antonio or San Antonio to Austin. The eighty miles between them are inside the daily mileage allowance.
Do you deliver to New Braunfels, San Marcos or Gruene?
Yes. Everything on the I-35 corridor between the two cities is inside our delivery area: New Braunfels and Gruene, San Marcos, Kyle and Buda, Canyon Lake, Wimberley and Dripping Springs.
Which airport should I fly into?
Whichever is cheaper or closer to your first night. We meet you curbside at both AUS and SAT with your flight tracked, and the car can go back at the other airport.
